I did a mechanical inspection for a friend. He wanted to buy a car from here. The car drove okay but needed a timing belt (was cracking); headlights were fogged and rusty inside; and had significant hail damage which wasn't mentioned in the Kijiji ad. The salesman seemed like a reasonable gentleman to deal with but the car wasn't what was advertised.

In July last year I bought a 2011 Subaru Outback from Calgary Auto Gallery and it was a disaster. I was promised the world when buying from Saf - he appeared friendly, helpful and accommodating.....it is a massive lie. I was shown a clean motor vehicle inspection sheet, promised it was in perfect condition, told the car had winter tires and greatly appreciated the set of summer tires and a tow bar which Saf 'threw in' in order to get my business. The promises fell apart quickly - car did not have winter tires they were all season, it was missing a rear seat-belt, the rear lights weren't working, there was one rear headrest which didn't fit in the headrest slots, the tow bar DID NOT fit the car and the summer tires were two different types and were so worn down my mechanic refused to put the on the vehicle! The breaks needed replacing at a cost of nearly $1000. The warranty they offer through 'Global Warranty' is useless. If you do want to do business with Calgary Auto Gallery then don't trust them! Triple check all the paperwork, look up the Carfax independently of them and use your own mechanic not Saf's pet one. Saf reaches a new nadir for second hand car dealers.

We have had exceptional service upon our visit to the Calgary auto Gallry in Calgary to get our new vehicle. I purchased my vehicle not long ago from Saf. He was very kind and friendly to deal with. I never felt pressured into buying a vehicle and he was also accommodating in letting me pick up the car a few days early. I would definitely purchase from him again and will be recommending him to my friends.
