Spent a lot of time reading and watching video about e-bikes, one kept popping up as having rider driven design and top notch service, so in my mind it was already on my short list when I visited the newly opened Vancouver showroom. When I found out they would sell me a fully assembled, tuned, and safety checked bike at no extra cost I was sold. Busy place, was warned it might take a few days to have it ready. Picked up my Rad Mini Step Thru 2 today, fit in the back seat of my son’s Toyota Corolla. Wow. I have lung health issues that have seriously inhibited my ability to get around, even simple walks are tough on me. This bike got me comfortably out and about my neighbourhood all afternoon, like a kid again, just “going riding” Rock solid, was concerned it would be heavy and awkward, it is not. Pedal assist comes in smooth, set up was sweet and shifting between the 7 gears was a dream. I can control the amount of physical effort required, keep my oxygen levels safe, and the throttle is always there if I need it. This bike will change my life for the better. Looking forward to getting out on the river trails and enjoying the fresh air, instead of being stuck inside. Oh and the included 3 month/100 mile tune up for brakes, shifter, and spoke tightening is an added perk. I sound like a shill, but this is life changing for me. And this company is changing the world for the better. Great folks, comfortable spending my $$ in The World of Rad. So Yes I love it.

So many disappointments. Battery failed within 2 months - warranty not respected. Had to replace pedals within 2 months, brake pads within 2 months. Customer service abysmal. They are super responsive if they think they'll make a sale but take weeks to answer an email after that. Rad customer service tried to blame an imaginary power surge in my house for the battery getting fried - a surge which magically did not affect a single other electronic device in the whole house. Bought.a front rack, they didn't send the write screws to assemble. Customer service response "find it yourself," no part name or number given. Front light is not waterproof so it floods internally and shorts out even in light rain. The reason these bikes are inexpensive is because all the parts are super cheap. You'll spend more on maintenance in 2 years than the value of the bike. Probably worth spending more on a company that cares about the quality of its products and customer service.

I ordered a Rad mini online and had the Rad mobile team come out to assemble the bike. TJ and Mitch were incredibly knowledgeable, efficient and helpful. I loved all the tips they gave me. The service was excellent value for money. 2 days later, after seeing how much I loved my bike, we went down to the Rad store so my husband could test drive a couple of different models. We walked out with a Rad Rover. Service from the mobile team as well as at the store was outstanding. We are both happily sailing up hills!

Scooped up a RadRunner 1 in May. My wife got a cargo ebike from another company and I wanted a cool ride to keep up with her. If you're looking for a stylish fun bike that can carry 2 people this is the bike for you. Easier to assemble than an Ikea cabinet and no video required. For me the RadRunner is a great bike! See which Rad works for you and go with it. Good customer service too, phone calls and emails were answered in a timely manner even during the height of the ebike buying spree. Thanks Rad! When I received the box that had my new bike! I felt intimidated at the prospect of putting it together properly! I contacted Rad customer service! I had a great experience with their Mobile van coming to me! They put it together made sure everything fit to my height and made me ride a bit to introduce all the features of my new bike! Fabulous! I have been thrilled with my bike with the distance I can ride per day and the speed! Whoa! Happiest of smiles on my face! At 750k I started to hear weird sounds! I’m not mechanical inclined and don’t do my own maintenance! I called, thankfully in Vancouver, we have a mobile service! They came and tuned up and serviced my bike, then would not leave until I got to understand the throttle, which I was scared of! I had to tip overs on hills from a stop because I’d fear! I, now can start from any steepness without fear of tipping! Yeah Rad mobile unit! ! Huge thank you
