The sales staff was great. The mechanic, Lars, was pretty condescending and not helpful. He suggested we not try to take the wheel off the bike I bought because there was a singular wire to hook up the brakes after putting the tire back on. He didn't explain how to do it to me, he explained it to my boyfriend, my boyfriend was not the one buying the bike. --- It was not a complicated process.

I came by yesterday after having some big problems with my chain during a delivery shift. In less than 10m, one of the person working there helped me and took care of my bike. His help was much appreciated and I highly recommend you to go to this shop.

These guys were great. Very helpful, and I didn’t feel like I was being sold things I didn't need. Damian spent a lot of time with me, explained everything really well, and didn't make me feel stupid for being a beginner. They have a nice range of accessories from affordable to luxury. Service turnaround was quick and job was well done.

I moved to Vancouver last year and searched around everywhere for a decent value hybrid with disk brakes for everyday commute to work. JV bikes were the best - not pushy with sales and great deals on new bikes, willing to include some extras as I bought a bike for my wife as well. The workshop next door is also incredibly helpful with free tune up and they put themselves out to help with any small issues. Definitely recommend..
