Montreal Kia Complex

I have had inconsistent experiences with complexe kia that force me to tell you to please AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP. First experience was good: Took my soul in for a suspension rattle after hitting a pot hole. Kia fixed it under warranty no questions asked . I was super impressed and loved how nice the service lady was. I even tried a sportage while I was waiting. Awesome little suv but the limited rear visibility and low roof left line me feeling cramped in the front. Oh well. Second experience. Lets try a seltos or not ( covid ) bad Went inside asked to try the car alone with my wife . She has diabetes and we wanted to avoid unnecessary contact with the saleman. Before he could answer another guy shouted out behind me NO ...NO ..WE DONT DO THAT. when I asked him why not ...mtl nord kia offered me this option ( but they had no turbo so I declined). Anyways, the sales guy told me they were not insured for that? I walked away And left. Third experience: Lets try a seltos AGAIN ( really BAD) My cousin and wife are curious about a forte gt and also want to look at the seltos. We go as 2 couples on a rainy sunday. We walk in and let the sales person know We would like to try the seltos. He walk me alone to his desk and begins to interrogate me with questions. Whats your name? What do you drive? Will you be exchanging it ? What do you think the seltos is worth? ...I do my best to answer but eventually i had to put a stop to it as he was asking me about what montly payment would i be comfortable with?...i was there to try a car ..no more. After 15 minutes of this I walk away as he tells me he going to get the keys. Another 10 minutes go by ..he calls me to his desk . Now the sales manager is sitting behind the desk. He tells me that theres no point in continuing because I answered 33600$ when asked about how much the seltos sx was worth. My answer was based on prices I saw on autotrader from kia lasalle. He then went online and checked. Then he said we could not match that so ...I said to him I didn't come here to negotiate a sale ..l M HERE TO TRY A CAR. He said we are in the business of selling not trying cars and once again refused to let me drive it. We went back and forth a few times and my cousin came over and eventually convinced them to lend me the car. I even got to try it alone with my wife ?...what happened to that insurance dosent cover it ?. The car was great but once again there were little things that bothered me. The first salesman I got appologized About what happened and we reset but the damage was done. I still had the new crosstrek and hrv on my list.. Forth and last experience: the last straw ( very bad) My pano roof wont close fast and seem like the motor is dying. Make a service call. The lady tells me if its the rails that need grease its not covered. I tell her why not . She says its the client job to do that. I told her well it might also Be the motor. Only one way to find out we have to check it .At this point I check my manual. There is absolutely nothing in there about servicing it. I take the initiative and I grease the rails with white lithium to see if it corrects the problem. It does not. A few day later I come in For my appointment. The service man was Nice and started to prep the car. The lady over the phone makes an appearance and Starts to let me know that there will be costs.of 149$ + tx. I tell her I wont pay for any greasing that should be covered. Besides I greased it..The service man says that I cant get to the rails without removing the top ... it takes 1.5 hours to remove the panels...and the clients are expected to do this once a year..AGAIN NOT IN THE MANUAL. I refused to pay. They took the car in for 2 minutes..pretended to look at the problem and told me it need greasing sorry bye! I have called kia canada and they confirmed that no maintenance is required by the client and that they will be opening file on this dealership. I wont be going back there thats for sure . They are the definition of STEELERSHIP. Stay away from them . They dont deserve your money.

I called this dealership recently and one of the sales agents told me that nobody in the "New cars Section" dealerships speaks English and that they only communicate in French. I called back a couple days later and got the same response. You can see by calling this dealership that they will not answer any of your questions in English. It would help if the owner would hire some anglophones so that we can communicate in English.

Kia. i didn’t think of you as a competitor in the league you play because of what you appear to be. well appearances are deceiving. in the end, it showed that you are about the people who become your clients and we thank you for that. especially P-Sells and JFx. Not forgetting E-Money a very special thank you. (my treat. french vanilla for everyone. specially the lady at the desk minding the brewer obsessed with making sure it works :P. and it does)
