Nanaimo Honda

The staff; salesperson, sales manager and owner were outstanding. They made the sales experience positive and the culture of friendly, personable service was evident from the moment I walked into the showroom. All my questions were answered and I was given ample opportunity to test all the features in the vehicle during the test drive. I was provided with print material and the features of each trim level were explained clearly. I was given time and attention, I was made to feel that I was the only customer in the store, despite the busy hub of many customers flowing through the showroom while I was present. (Yes, with social distancing in effect.) I highly recommend this family run business to anyone in the market for a vehicle. They are outstanding.

Just like any other dealership, do your own research on the vehicle you are interested in and dig deep. These guys went out of their way to keep information from me about previous work on my car even after I asked. I made the mistake of letting my guard down and they took advantage of that. Obviously it is my fault for being trustworthy with these guys.. I hate that I have to deal with crooked people when making a big decision but I have learned a lot from my experience with Nanaimo Honda and definitely would not recommend them just based off of my personal experience of being screwed around. I can confirm that both Nanaimo Honda and Nanaimo Mitsubishi have these decisive dealers that give dealerships the bad names they carry. To screw good people over for a living requires a person who has very little respect for themselves. These guys are paid to make you feel like you are in good hands but will do their best to take advantage of you as soon as you let your guard down. I can only hope that Karma will eventually catch up with these crooked dealers, there has to be some honest dealerships out there right? I love buying new vehicles but I don't understand why I have to constantly worry about someone trying to find a way to screw me every time I do. Edit: I am only speaking on my one experience at this dealership and have only dealt with the one dealer and the financial lady, I don't have an issue with the whole staff but can confirm that Nanaimo Honda does employ these shady dealers. I would still choose this dealership of Nanaimo Mitsubishi ANY day but would have to be much more careful.

This was a great experience. The sales team and finance person were a pleasure to work with. comfortable shopping experience and overall knowledgeable team. Any issues that came up were solved with a fair and open solutions. I would highly recommend buying through this dealer as opposed to auto trader, or an online used platform. My sales associate was Omar and he was friendly and knew all the details about the car. Very happy. Would go back.

I received great service at Nanaimo Honda. The customer service representative took the time to discuss my options with zero pressure. The work was completed in a very timely manner. A complimentary ride to the mall and back made it a great experience. Will definitely go back. Thanks

Wondering about their customer loyalty. Do they really walk the talk they use to close the sale? Or are they grooming their customer with fast talk promises that aren’t written into your sales agreement. If their financing promises seem too good to be real they probably are is what I hear. Think I’ll see what Mazda is like. Mazda is a better product anyway.
