Just what you need after a long walk on the canal

Great place to stop for a coffee or bite while you're on the Lachine canal bike path. Cute little patio/terrace with tables and seating while you enjoy the weather and people watching. Always great for a cappuccino after a long bike ride or any time for that matter. Wonderful staff as well.

I went to apply for a job there a couple of days ago, having just moved to Montreal, I did not know the café was closing for the season. The man working the counter was incredibly condescending and rude when I tried to apply; speaking in such a way that he was appalled I’d even try to apply there. The manager standing just a few feet away hearing the whole conversation, did nothing and when I went back to talk to him all he did was smile and I’m sure after I left, did nothing. I’m not usually one to complain about these things but it was particularly discouraging not only for someone looking for a job but a potential customer and I wouldn’t recommend anyone go here until there is professional staff/management.

Nice staff. Stuff is expensive but maybe the stuff is unique-ish for the area. They have good tender biscotti from Little Italy.

Convenient location. Sandwich good but usually not thoroughly wormed. Expensive.
