The worst feeling is when a great institution gets so popular and so busy to the point that their service suffers. That's exactly what happened here. I sent my bike in, it was ready 3 weeks later. Before it was ready, they told me they miscalculated and it would be $50 more expensive. No sweat. Once I got the bike, I noticed the gear kept skipping and it was essentially worst than before I brought it in. They then told me they had miscalculated again, and would be another $25 to fix the issue. I went to the store 3 times and waited 30-45 minutes each time before getting served. I understand, it's covid so traffic is way less, but this was a huge painpoint, especially mixed with other issues I had with them. Both times that they miscalculated, the employee was unreasonable, didn't take any responsibility, and the subtext of each conversation with their staff was them telling me "It's my way or the highway" Horrible experience, not coming back here.

Checked out this shop as my bike had a flat and needed some work! They were swamped due to the virus and a little low on supplies. They were able to help me out and get me on the road quickly and on schedule with their estimates. Thanks!

The staff here is rude. I was just trying to negotiate for the waiting time they would keep my bike before servicing. And the staff member started yelling that they don’t do PRICE negotiations blah blah blah... They simply dont wana listen to your problems as a customer.

Went to see those guys with my good old Masi a while ago and the service is on point. Very kind and informed staff, ready to answer any newbies like me's questions. Definetly would recommend to all cyclists in and out of MTL.
