First shop visit as I begun an 8,000km epic across Canada. Really impressive shop and friendly staff, considering most shops in Vic are staffed by entitled bike snobs trying to rip you off. Not so at Russ Hays. Got me kitted out with a new bar bag, lent me some tools and sent me on my merry way. Great purchase (Ortlieb Waterproof) keeps all my electronics nice and dry even during the nastiest rain and hailstorms, which you'll definitely get stuck in if going across this beautiful country. Recommend this shop for sure!

Great service! I had the misfortune of my rear derailleur not shifting properly on my way into Sidney last Saturday. Thinking perhaps it was a sticky cable, I dropped into Russ Hayes - Sidney for a little lubricant and a check. It turned out to be a frayed cable with not much life left! With my approval they immediately installed a new cable, fine tuned the shifting and I was on my way again in no time. Many thanks for the great (quick) service, Dave!

I brought my sons bike into the shop today. It wasn't shifting at all.They looked at the bike right away and fixed the problem too! Fast and friendly staff I will definitely be bringing my bikes there from now on!
