Arbutus RV & Marine Sales Ltd - SIDNEY

Recently purchased a fifth wheel and pickup truck from Arbutus RV. My customer experience was great and they spent a lot of time with me during the final inspection to ensure that I understood all of the systems and everything was in good shape. Also, after the sale they paid for some required repairs to the truck to ensure that it would safely tow the fifth wheel.

Nobody seem to want to come and talk with us while we were walking around looking in units. Went over to talk with them and all 3 of them were like talking to a tomato. So we ended up going to Greg's RV in Duncan and buying a new unit. Poor service at Arbutus is putting it lightly.

Bought a new 32’ Reflection trailer from Arbutus Sidney and it’s been downhill ever since! Stay away from this company! You will get ZERO support after your purchase. As soon as you hand over the final payment you’re on your own. God help you if there’s a warranty issue. They pass the buck and you get nothing but the run around. These guys are all talk and no action. Microwave failed 3 months ago and black valve failed 2 months ago. Still no action or response. Sidney passed it on to Port Alberni and they won’t attend to our permanently installed trailer because of covid and there’s nobody at our site!!! Bought a “new” cover from them. Opened the box that had obviously been opened before and the $600 cover is torn, obviously having been put back in the box. They then said I have to do a warranty claim through the factory!!! What a joke!!! How this company is still in business is beyond me! We plan on upgrading in 5 years and will NOT be returning to Arbutus Sidney!!

-5 stars Extremely disappointed, They listed a truck online for sale. I called them to confirm it was available, I rescheduled a few hours of my day, I then drove from sooke to there lot in sydney, I test drove the truck and i looked it over. They then decided they don't want to sell it! Never experienced this kind of action from a "professional" dealership before!! I am now out 2 hours of my time and the fuel it cost me to travel there and there response was a 2 second sorry!

We bought a 2014 trailer from Arbutus 5 months ago. We ran into some water ingress issues and interior water damage that our insurance wouldn’t cover since it was ongoing before the policy started and It wasn't caught by myself or Arbutus prior to purchasing since it was a slow leak and not noticeable at first. Sean and Matt really stepped up to help us out and we couldn’t be happier with the end result. I highly recommend Arbutus if you ever need a camper!
