Integrity, integrity, integrity. The team was entirely transparent and answered every question. There wasn't a moment of pressure or expectation of a sale -- I'm aware how cheesy it sounds in an online review, but I'm convinced Paul was more concerned from my well-being than he was in closing a deal!

He is a very good salesmen. I went there to look at the few jettas he had and was happy not to have to get a prepurches inspection because he was a dealer. I ended up getting a 2002 jetta. There was a few things wrong with it such as a broken radio and glove box which he didnt know about, I just asumed he was stretched thin after firing all of his employees. But there was one main issue with the car, it made a wirring noise when it turned on. I asked him about this and he told me it was a belt and was an easy fix. I didnt know any thing about cars so I trusted him on it. As I left he gave me a spare radio and when the radio was in my hands he told me that it was mine as long as the noise (which he told me was a belt problem) was mine to deal with and said that i should take it to his mechanic because its cheaper. A week later I took my car to a shop that was 5 km away insted of 45 km to his. The same day i picked up my car and found out that the "belt problem" was really a starter problem that my shop figured out as soon as they turned it on. (This has made me concerned about the entire inspection they did) The next day I called him and he told me he was riding his motorcycle and to call him back in a few hours. When I did I attemted to see if he could pay just for the starter problem because he did lie to me about that but insted he basicly said that the $442.32 bill wasnt a big deal and asked if i wanted to go back on the deal and pay full price on the car which was 200 dollars more but i would lose more money on taxes, so I told him no and that he should get some other people to get to do the inspections because clearly they couldnt find a problem that my mehcanic could figure out in literal secounds after turning it on. Then i hung up on him.

Paul Banks, the owner of Ebanks Auto Sales, was very generous, allowing me to see all the records, and even take the car I was looking at, to the local garage where he has all his inspections done, to verify with the mechanic about their report. Upon deciding to purchase, he made it easy, including allowing for e- transfer of payment, and taking my old junker off my hands so I could drive the new one home. Thanks again, Paul!
