Red Shred's Bike & Board Shed

I had such a great experience at red shreds. As soon as I walked in the door. I had called ahead about a particular bike and there it was ready for me, right by the door. The staff knew who I was as soon as I entered, without ever having seen me before! I was looked after from everything to the bike itself, to my bike rack, and any other gear and maintenance I may need. Super enthusiastic and non intimidating atmosphere, which is super important to me where I am just starting out in the biking world! I’m so happy that I supported local 🤟🏻

Asked for a full service including repacking bearings. picked up the bike few days later when called, when unloading the bike from the truck front wheel would barley turn by hand when off the bike and feels like the bearings are piled up. Rear tire was flat. Haven looked at much else that was done yet.

Needed a new bike to replace my long-dormant, now-retro RM Blizzard. Wanted another Rocky Mountain, but they had no hard-tails and the rest were a bit beyond the range I wanted to pay for what may soon become a once-a-year bike. Merle (? Merrill?) was incredible... He found me a perfectly priced and geared Kona hard-tail, while patiently explaining what's evolved in 25 years. I ride it, plus a couple others for comparison. (Including the RM I'll get if I ever wear this one out!) He set me up with other gear, and some trail recommendations. I'm set, folks. Fingers crossed it gets ridden so much I wear it out!

I have dealt with this shop for quite a few years and all I can say is 5 stars all the way! Top service and great price. I recommend this bike shop to anyone! Thank you Mark, the mechanics, and everyone who works there.

Out in WL on a bike trip, busted my deraileur, Shreddy and Cory got me fixed all up and out on the trails again in half an hour or so. Dudes are rad and service was super quick. Highly recommend this LBS when in WL.
