Save your money, time and sanity. Rude, disgustingly offensive and completely rushed service. I tried to contact them three times about my claims. No replies. I updated my address on file to receive two cheques owed to me in the mail. Both were still sent to an address two moves prior. Apparently there is no where to turn, as Kerry McLaughlin | Associate Vice President, Colwood Insurance Services, was the first and only contact to my claims. Multiple errors were made and dishonest service sucks. What is this?

My windshield cracked, I had it replaced and payed the deductible. Then contacted Colwood to make the deductible reimbursement claim. All was good, I would receive cheque in 10 days. A month goes by, I called and was told it must have slipped through the cracks, I'll receive the cheque in 10 days. 2 Weeks goes by, I go into Hub (who sold me the insurance) and was told Colwood was very busy, but I would receive the cheque in 10 days. 2 months later, and 3 different "10 days" and nothing. I am clearly not going to receive this $500. I give up, am cancelling insurance and will go with a more reputable company. Update: I regrouped and didn't give up and finally received reimbursement chq! It only took 3 months, 3 office visits, numerous phone calls and emails. Changing star rating to 3 from 1 because even though it was probably the most ridiculous run around I've ever got, I did in the end receive the cheque.

Limited depreciation policy is utterly useless on a used vehicle, they do not cover rental car , or any of the fees involved with the purchase of the vehicle. I owed the bank 20,000 dollars to cover the replacement of my vehicle, ICBC gave me the current value of the vehicle colwood gave me a check of 900 dollars..

I have extra insurance through this company, I was involved in an accident and needed some questions answered, I called over a month ago and still no phone call back. Obviously you are important until you need to file a claim and then they couldn't care less.
