I had a reservation for 12:00 pm on Friday 2/12. I went to the location and no one was there. I called the number on the door and spoke to a man that said they did not have my reservation and did not have any cars... too bad. I called the Hertz corporate office and they looked up my reservation, confirmed it and said there was nothing they could do. AVOID THIS HERTZ!!

I would give them Zero starts if I could I made a reservation for a Car more than a week before pick-up. When I showed up for pick up, they didn't have a Car the class and type that I reserved. I reserved Automatic, they only had one Stick-shift car that was in pretty bad shape. What made my experience even worse was the endless excuses on how "normal" it was for them not have cars are reserved because it was high season and headquarters send them reservations without even checking they have available cars. I cancelled the reservation on the spot and had to scramble to find another car which ended up being more expensive that what I reserved initially.

Hertz hurts! Reserved car not available! Car that was available overheated and died on us in the middle of the road 3 h away from our hotel- no help at all- we called and asked for assistance and replacement car. What happened was they sent a guy to pick up a car and left us there! They told us we are NOT getting a replacement today or tomorrow!! So we had to uber back to our hotel ( 3,5h uber ride) aaaannd we got a charge for $6000 on credit card! Obviously police claim and credit card claim was filed! DO NOT rent a car with this company!

Excellent service of Mr. José Solís A. I rented a car 3 times when I was in Jaco in Aug/Sep 2020 and he did an amazing job, very attentive and helped me with any questions I had. He even let me bring back the car on a Sunday.
