nice clean little station
Its a good Station. It has a sitting room, cover overhead in case it rains, and a small coffee shop that, besides hot drinks, also sells cakes, sweets, juice, painkillers, tissues, etc. My only advice is if you enjoy a flavoured latte (caramel, hazelnut, etc), ask the guy for just a little syrup and NO SUGAR.. He tends to make them undrinkably sweet.
Supposedly maned. Every time I'm there . There's a sign up at the counter. The touch screen was actually upside down last time. Screen was very unresponsive. Typically ScotRail
Good to see the station buildings still surviving, and not bulldozed for the more usual Scotrail windswept tarmac strip. Retaining some period features, but little else. Small ticket office and heated waiting room on Platform 1, many seem to realise it’s not there. Taxis sometimes wait on Bankhead Road entrance.
Alright train station, got a couple of cafe shops but I've yet to see one open....
