Hope railway station in Flintshire sits on the line that heads towards Birkenhead in one direction, and towards Wrexham in the other. This is not an easy railway station to find as it is not sign posted on nearby streets. There is no official car parking whatsoever, if you want to leave your car nearby (while travelling on the train). you will have to leave your car in a nearby street. Consequently because there is no car parking, there is also no disabled car parking as well. Access to the railway station is gained by walking under the near by railway bridge, and then taking an immediate sharp right turn, and you will eventually find the entrance to the station. The entrance to this railway station is via a ramp which can obviously be used for disabled access. The ramp leads to the platform for trains heading towards Birkenhead. Access to the platform for trains for Wrexham is via a level crossing connected to the other platform. The station does have close circuit television for security purposes. And the station also has as a number of bicycle racks and bicycle lockers. If you want to know when your next train is due then you are in luck because there is a digital departure board. There are covered waiting areas on both platforms but there is no seating at all all probably due to the current pandemic.
