Elmers End is a great train station because the tram is just opposite.
The only reason I went there was to visit the Tesco superstore.
Seems to be a decent enough station with a ticket office, shelter and a bus and tram interchange on each side. Step free access is possible from both sides however, a footbridge is needed to get between the two platforms but at least it doesn't have too many steps. Trains to London and Hayes are usually every 15 minutes with the trams to Croydon being every 10 minutes respectively.

Trains usually on time. Services to Cannon St, Charing Cross, London Bridge. Interchange with teams to Croydon and bus services to Woolwich and south east London and Croydon/Purley Way. Shop that serves coffees. Decent station with good facilities and regular services considering its in an outer zone.
This station is quite most of the time, sitting room , ticket hall available but sometimes ticket machine is down
