It’s very simple and charming! It does not stays on a road. It’s on a very cute and small square, with pubs. It’s always very clean and tidy. Nice staff and nice communication. You can stop your bike safely. It’s not very busy, so you can enjoy a little more the ambient! I love this neighbourhood

It has a better track and junction layout than Herne Hill but that's about it. The platforms are narrow, low and have minimal facilities. The island platform here is nothing short of a complete joke and a half with its half standing excuse of a shelter. The subway staircase leading to the platforms is far too narrow and I'd dread to imagine it in the peak hours. Station has two exits, both with ticket barriers.

A kind member of staff just helped me off the platform and down the stairs with my pram. Thank you! I would never of been able to do it myself. Excellent service.

I often feel sorry for the staff at this station. It’s a busy hub serviced by Southern and Thameslink, which we all know are atrocious services. As a result, I imagine they come in for their fair share of frustrated customers taking it out on them. That said then, I think it’s pretty great that the vast majority of the staff are patient and helpful (with the exception of one short, dark haired woman who never seems to be anything but furious with the world and incredibly rude). Thanks, staff at Tulse Hill, for putting up with working for such shockingly bad rail services.
