Does a decent job as a station with buses stopping on both sides to Shepherd's Bush, Ealing and Greenford which is nice. Step free access is available on both sides, but not changing between as the footbridge only has stairs. Shelter and seating is sub par but trains typically run every 15 mins in each direction which is nice.
If you want to catch a mainline train in Chiswick, this is the place to come. If you want a bus, I'd go elsewhere...
Reasonably pleasant station, being easily accessible on both sides and a footbridge linking the two platforms. Ticket machines are only on the London bound platform, and using discount railcards for travel towards Weybridge isn't available. Service is every 15 minutes each way. There's a taxi office and buses to Chiswick High Road on the London side. However if you can't use the footbridge, to cross from one platform to the other, it's about a 500m walk around via the road bridge. Not very convenient.

Station itself is good. depending which side you coming from, you don't need to cross the bridge so it's an option for whoever comes with wheelchair, buggy or elderly people. Southwest trains are normally ok in terms of timing on week days but on weekends..plan your journey ahead there is always something going on! Specially on Sundays :$ regards to staff never seen so don't expect help from human being otherwise you can always go to the shop in front and get help from them there.
