It is very quiet and not congested
New built flats by Country side developers around the station. They looked stunningly beautiful flats. I haven't made enquiry about the price. However, it could be purchased through government help to buy scheme.

Full step free access to both platforms, ticket machines, information boards (although one is currently broken). New trains on the way, but only every 30 mins, so make sure you check before you travel for delays and cancellations.
Basic but functional station. Quite windswept! The service from here can be unpredictable, trains are often cancelled at short notice. ALWAYS check before setting out, particularly if you require connections. I've been let down a few times!
Oyster card readers, waiting shelters and benches are provided on both platforms. A ticket machine is available on the northbound platform along with a staffed ticket office open on weekday mornings. A footbridge (with ramps) gives access to both platforms from South St. and Wharf Rd.
