Memorable station !

This interchange is great if you're looking to switch between the District lines and the Overground. It's open air which can be a pain during the rainy months but it's nice to be outdoors in the summer. If you need to switch to a bus you can directly above as the 190 stops right at the front of the station.

My local station. Very efficient, kind and friendly staff, always available. Lift not easy to find it seems for visitors. Quite a lot of stairs to street level. A bit difficult if carrying a heavy load. The platform has an extreme curve so there is a wide and unexpected gap between the train and platform. This can be difficult for elderly, disabled and very young travellers. There is no extra hand rail on the outside of the trains to assist with stepping off. It is also quite high, stepping off the train. Plenty of wooden benches on the platforms to sit on .- Thankfully, no freezing cold metal ones! Nice shrubbery and planters, but i was upset when lovely shrubs were demolished a few years ago, on the centre platform.! I am still hoping for replanting to occur. It was all so pretty and gave a unique appearance and peacefulness to the station. I cannot understand why this was done! My favourite station in London however, with easy access to Clapham Junction and Sussex.
