Oyster top up machine not working!
Very poor station overall if you ask me. None of the platforms have step free access, there is very little in terms of seating and shelter, the ticket office is open only during the early weekday mornings and there's only two trains an hour stopping.
I was fortunate enough not to smell the sewage works that's a stone's throw away from the platform.
Awful station in desperate need for a refurb
Platforms are fine. Ticket machines work well if used properly. Working NFC touch-in/touch-out machines. The ticket office is barely ever open, when it is customer service is OK. Old station, rather dirty but you won't be there very long anyway.
Known locally as Smellylands station. Dreadful station which looks like it's about to fall down anytime.
