I want say a big thank you to staff who worked today around 17.30 at train station as was very professional approach, I have been asked if i have face mask i replied unfortunately not but if you have one I can buy it off you man gave me with no problem face mask, and was very helpful and polite also did say me exactly where I need to go and to what platform to catch up train to Luton.. it is amazing that we can still see good people around❤❤❤many thanks hope this man will get pay rise as defo deserves one!!! Thank you Harpended staff!!

Parking is nice and cheap available. There is no step free access available, neither any lift for wheelchair access for platform. The worst part if most of the Overground stations lack lift for disable people. There is a small cafe foe a quick bite and coffee. It is fine but please arrange the elevator.

A very nice little Train station. Very clean and tidy with no litter anywhere to be seen inside or outside the station. Nice indoor seating areas for waiting for the train. The building is very nice.

Pleasant small commuter town in my youth with a wide selection of shops, an outdoor swimming pool and a cinema. Sadly both the latter have gone and there are too many coffee shops, charity shops, dress shops and hairdressers. Worth a visit - just be wary of erratically driven 4x4s!
