Unique experience especially with kids. My friend's son had his birthday party in the train and his friends had lot of fun especially since the theme was Halloween. I would recommend a visit if your child enjoys outdoor experiences such as this. The journey itself is short and isn't spectacular by any means. Nevertheless, it was a fun trip and worth a visit.

Great day out. It's just amazing how much fun the kids had getting on old steam trains and riding down the track. There's even a refreshment carriage. Highly recommended!

One of the best small railway preservation groups.With visiting rail group the day couldn'thave gone better. Superb packed lunches and tea & coffee well served. Train rides with Metropolitan tank engine superb. Diesels good too. Bus ride to Epping nostalgic. Highly recommended!
