A beautiful architectural masterpiece from the 19th century, still with an original roof on platform 1 and a lovely warm vibe from the entire building. Lovely half hourly train service on weekdays and a thoroughly worthwhile trip!
Cold wet day and ticket office waiting room and toilets all closed at 9.30 am Monday. Its a shame as it looks like it has had a recent face lift.
Discovered ticket office is closed when travelling into London @5 on a week day.. Not even a snack stall if you're a bit hungry
