As far as very small, fairly disused un-staffed stations go, the facilities here aren't too bad. Waiting shelters have been provided, and there is a ticket machine on the Portsmouth/Southampton-bound platform of the station. Step-free access to both platforms is via a level crossing at the West end of the station.
However, being such an un-staffed and small station, this station isn't very secure, or all that safe to be at, and it feels rather uncomfortable to wait for trains at during certain points in the day, or at night. Lots of trains pass this station, although there is only an hourly stopping service for each direction, plus there's no footbridge to bypass the level crossing when the barriers are down.
Unless it's the smaller local stations between Havant and Chichester you require, you're better off using Havant's main station, since all Southern Services along the West Coastway Line that pass here will stop there. Otherwise, it's probably best to avoid using this station if you can.
