Platform 1 At Sileby Station Class 156 Class 153 and Class 158 fun great trains at East Midlands Trains
A two-platform halt built in the 1990s. In desperate need of disabled access and the only ticket machine is halfway up the stairs to platform 1, notably inconveniencing northbound travellers. What is more is the shelters are insufficient for the numbers travelling these days, particularly due to the strength of the wind blowing over the platforms and the lack of shade during periods of intense sunshine.
