Plenty of free parking spaces but there is litter everywhere, especially in the turning bay so beware of getting a puncture. There is a ticket machine but it’s out of order quite often. The departure board isn’t that reliable either. Since September 2019 there have been numerous instances of the board showing the train is on time when it’s not and also showing that the train is delayed and giving a new arrival time when in fact it has been cancelled altogether. There are no public toilets at the station or in the vicinity and the bus timetable doesn’t really fit in with train times so if your train is delayed by 10 minutes you have to wait about 20 minutes for the next bus. There was originally a very good shuttle bus service for the station but that was scrapped like most other useful facilities in the area.
