Whilst the station is located in a good location on the other side of Ipswich, services here are much less than desirable.
The station has no shelter whatsoever to shield from the sun or rain, trains stop here approximately every hour and are formed of one or two coaches, no announcements and the help point on the Ipswich platform was faulty.
I'm grateful for the station having recently added step free access via ramps down to the platforms and the ticket machine accepts both cash and card payments but everything is is pretty sub par.
I really like Derby road, situated in the lovely tranquil area of Ipswich. Love seeing the monsters at 23:59:59. Pure American power!
A beautiful little railway station where you can find supreme amarican locomotion at its best. You might even find a Jono. Quite and peaceful, it sits in the deckilicouse area of the world.
