I just walked out of the store... Because they very much acted like they don't want my business? I'm confused...nnI walked in and asked about beach bikes for my family of 4, or beach cruisers. Very bluntly the gentleman looked at me and said. Sorry there are no beach cruisers, just no inventory...then just stares at me.nnWell, I said... What about a mountain bike that is a bit more relaxed for beginners outfitted with beach tires? I'm okay if you don't have inventory, maybe you can order them?nnHim: Maybe.....blank stare.nnThen he turned to help someone else and after 10 more minutes of waiting, I decided his lack of enthusiasm to teach me about bikes and help guide me towards the right purchase had gone far enough. I'll gladly go buy my family of 4 their bikes somewhere else, I guess. I wanted to support local but it doesn't make sense that REI would give more attentive service.
Got a VERY nice new bike helmet for my 9 year old son here. Very good friendly laid back non-pushy customer service. Love shopping LOCAL AND SMALL! Thank you! Will be back for our biking needs!
They are very friendly and do a great job. And good pricing to get your bike fixed. I would definitely bring my bike to them.
Jeff and the crew at Camas Bikes have got you covered. If you like bikes, you'll like this shop. The showroom is clean, organized, and stocked with anything you need to get outside and do some social distancing. The work coming out of the shop is superb and timely, no complaints there. But where this shop truly stands above the rest is the customer service. Stop being treated poorly by bike shops. Go to Camas bikes, have a chat with Jeff (the owner) about the merits of steel frames, and leave knowing your day just got a little bit better. Thanks guys!
Fast service, very fairly priced, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. Had my mountain bike in there a couple of times and the work has been top notch. When asked for advice on gear/tools, they recommended exactly what I needed and nothing more - honest group of folks who have earned my trust and my repeat business.
