My family and I stayed this weekend here and we all really enjoyed ourselves. Dee is awesome she is very friendly and helpful. The cottage we stayed at was great. The only thing was we didn't know they didn't have a stove but we made it work. We definitely will be back. Thanks again Summer Haven Resort.

Cabin 7 very nice set up for a house , but whoever maintains this place , should be ashamed. $350 for bugs , no stove, refrigerator doesn’t work , couch mattress cover nasty, toilet area nasty, curtains dirty with dead bugs on them, falling off the rod, floors need mopping, towels looked like someone used them and put them back in the bathroom. The only thing I enjoyed was the air conditioner . I stayed because everything was sold out , brought my own cleaning supplies and the water stank , thank God for bottled water. Furniture is real old and also the television, could have put a new table cloth on the table to eat, smelled like mold when you walk in. I did the best I could but was very uncomfortable, was messed up is they didn’t apologize, give me a discount or anything. Place could be nice with different owner running it, ud83dude21

This place looked pleasant when we pulled in until the front desk lady looked at my husband and said I’m just warning you it grouse down there they took us to there underground by the water rooms in like the basement it smelled bugs and spiders and cob webs every where and then when I went to look at the beds there was blood on the sheets chunks of hair piss stains as if they never cleaned it and just pulled the sheets over the beds it was awful place need to be shut down or different owners something needs to change! When I went for a refund the lady was upset with the things I had to say about the room.

I don't like to give bad reviews but Summer Haven deserves a horrible review to go along with their lack of customer service. Never stay here the place is run down and they charge more than other nicer resorts in the area. I only gave them one star because I could not give them zero.
