Charming little cabins with a lot of bed space. Would be good for shoving a bunch of small kids into one cabin and a couple aunt couples in another. Do not plan on using the futons, they are probably worse then sleeping on the floor. Not even comfortable for seating. The beds themselves are fine. This place really feels like a throwback to old motel and other roadside operations. If you're planning to cook at the cabins it is doable, but supplies vary, so I would recommend doing an inventory of supplies you'll need before you go shopping in case you need to grab things like extra forks.
Absolutely a great place to stay! Clean family environment!! Great people!!
Yes, it's close to the Indiana dunes amusement park. But why leave? With a pool, boats, games, and whatnot, all the family bonding time can be had right here in this rustic oasis. No waiting in lines. Just be sure to pack your toiletries (including hand soap) & towels. Relaxing with the family can't be beat.
Staff at Resort and saloon across the street (owned by same people) were amazing! Great hospitality! We will definitely be back!
Family and I had a great time at Anchor Bay. They have nice updated cabins. They also have a great pool, playground, basketball hoop and corn hole. They also have two paddle boats and kayaks.
