I chose this hotel as it was very close to my destination. The surrounding lake, trees, and walking/bike path were a nice surprise. The accommodations were surprisingly less than average and not worth what the hotel was charging for a double room. There is a damp smell when you walk in the door that you notice even with a mask on. I have stayed at other hotels since Covid and brought in my own wipes to wipe down counters etc., as a precaution. However, these rooms had gross cob webs in the corners, dirty light switches by the front and bathroom door and some red stains on the stark white bed cover (thankfully I had a double so used the other bed). I booked two double adjoining rooms and the other side was no better with the cob web situation and dirty switches. I touched only what was necessary and washed my hand constantly. Better attention to detail and cleaning light switches is a must even more so during Covid. I was not comfortable here and would not recommend to anyone. I should mention that the young lady at the front desk was very polite and always at the front desk when I needed her. I did not ask for a different room, but I am sure she would have been willing to accommodate if I had asked. I already saw two dirty rooms, not sure others would have been any better.

We had our family across 5 rooms with 8 kids along, hotel was very tolerant. Great time for everyone even with pool closed and other covid restrictions.

We stayed here back in January and waited 5+ hours to get into our hotel room. We weren’t able to get into our room until close to 8. The hotel gave us complimentary breakfast to make up for the inconvenience. However, the breakfast the next day was burnt and unappetizing. We also experienced poor customer service during our weekend stay multiple times and our rooms were dirty. We never had an experience like this before and we frequent this hotel. I addressed the front desk and they offered to give us a discounted night during our next stay. We booked our next stay and everything was fine until we went to check into the hotel. The lady at the front desk said that she had our reservation but no knowledge of the discount even though the night before I called and they assured me it would still be on there. She refused to give us the discount and said she couldn’t because her manager didn’t answer her call. I’m very disappointed and even though we have frequented this hotel in the past I do not think we will be returning.

Elevator was out of order...AGAIN! Grouped cashed paying customers in one wing for the. CONVENIENCE OF HOUSEKEEPING. Made seniors (such as myself) use a spiral staircase. Ever try to carry luggage up a spiral staircase when you are over 60?
