Inn at the Convention Center

It looks like from the outside that it's not going to be as nice as it is inside. They have floors where you can have pets and ones you can't. The rooms feel spacious and are appointed well and clean. Affordable typically running $100 or less for most normal nights. Staff very accommodating.

The place is definitely not the most fancy, however it's been updated and is very clean and comfortable. Not to mention the staff is extremely kind and professional, in fact I have NEVER had people bend over backwards to try and help us. I had my car window smashed by someone who thought it was his ex girlfriend car and the manager gave us a free night, not to mention a few other things like parking discounts. The entire staff is so friendly, I would stay here over any place in Portland just because of the staff.

I had one of the best motel/hotel stays in the Portland-Metro while on current journey during the past several years & periodically find a room that i feel i get more than what i pay for, however The Inn accomadations & rates were better than all but a couple on services and we got a rate offer we couldn't refuse & customarily shouldn't reveal (it was low). All of the Front Desk Staff were friendly & professional. Having tried their patience on occasion they always gave me the benefit of any doubt . i will be back. P.S. Asked for & received top floor with excellent view to the west and south of Inn that covers 75-80 of NE,NW, SW, & SE PDX city center skyline!

Great service at front desk, they took Long to check us in but she was very polite and nice. So no complaints.nThe only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because at 9am housekeeping opened our door while we were in our room still.. getting ready to check out. Other than that it was clean, and confortable.
