If I could give this place more stars I would. The owner who's name is Homer goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is memorable. His knowledge and insights of the area make your trip special. This adorable bed and breakfast has an indoor pool, DVD collection and our room had a fireplace and whirlpool tub along with a private balcony. The food every morning was really good with fresh fruit and locally sourced ingredients. You also get to choose what you want for breakfast the night before. The customer service here reminds you of how things were done years ago. We will be back and I highly recommend this place.
I wish there was a negative star, as that is what this owner deserves. We called and made a reservation in August for a stay in October. The reservationwas made directly with the owner. We reserved the king suite, specifically because of the 2 person Jacuzzi.nnHe invited us to visit on Sunday to get the code for our Monday arrival. When we arrived, he informed us he had us in a loft room with 2 beds and no tub. We showed him an email we sent to him confirming our conversation, including the room type and the rate. He would not accommodate us.nnThe business practices of this establishment are severely lacking. He did not send a confirmation to us, and I should have insisted he provide one or called requesting an answer to our email.

This place was amazing! The service was awesome.. they went over and beyond.. I would recommend this place to anyone..
Staying here was like staying with a relative. We were asked what we would like for breakfast and if 9 am was ok. The attention to detail in the room is beyond belief. We had an electric fireplace which felt so lovely on a cold night. I look forward to staying here again.
