Most amenities were closed due to vivid (no pool, no breakfast). I can forgive that. But the room smelled like mildew and the bathroom smelled like cigarettes.
Very nice motel. Reasonable prices. Quiet stay
Ckean room, comfortable bed. The clerk encouraged us to take a room on the second floor and we should have listened. The hallway was noisy late into the evening, probably due to guests using the pool.
It's a Super 8, so you know what you are getting. The staff was very kind, but don't feel they know a ton about Wyndham rewards and how they work. Wasn't really greeted as a diamond member. Jake is very kind and helpful. Goes out of his way to help. Do workers really need to smoke right at the entrance. I know that law in Indiana is no smoking within 8 feet of the entrance, but setting up the smoking section at 10 feet and having employees smoke right there makes for a gross entrance. Pool is extremely tiny. It starts at 3 feet and only goes to 4 feet. Beds were more comfortable than I thought. Bathroom was clean, AC blew cold.
Kim, who worked second shift at the front desk, was AWESOME! Very friendly and accommodating! Greeted every guest that entered and exited the building.nThe day staff weren't as friendly and seemed to interested in rushing around so they could take their breaks. The pool was freezing cold and bo one could swim which was a bummer..but overall we had a good stay.
