What an excellent hotel! The room was so sterile and clean and fresh, the bed super comfy, sheets and towels high quality and it was relaxing because it was impeccably clean. The housekeeping staff did not cut any corners. My family was quite comfortable and that makes me happy.
I booked through Hotels.com I was booked at$91.39. Once I checked in I was charged$105. If they are going to charge more to pay at the hotel it should show both prices. Also the ice bucket is located next to the toilet.
The representatives have been friendly and professional. The rooms are nice and clean.
As a traveling performer, it’s always a bit scary wondering if you’re going to end up at the end of the night when the only thing you want is a comfortable bed in a quiet place. Fortunately, the Hampton Inn in Merrillville, IN delivered on this above & beyond!nnMy band and I arrived at the hotel late after a show, and we were happy to get a quick check-in. The staff member was very friendly and accommodated us with a late check-out, which was greatly appreciated. The room was nice and clean with a great shower (water pressure was fabulous!) and comfortable beds. I’d say the crown jewel of this hotel is the breakfast. Great spread with fresh fruit, french toast, omelettes, pressed juices, and handmade smoothies. What more could you want!nnOverall this is a fantastic hotel and I would highly recommend anyone staying here if you are in the area!
Stayed here several times in 2012 and left to go else where and save money.nHigher price today with fewer amenities.nShould have known better, but thought maybe, there had to be improvement.nNo improvement.
