This was by far the best hotel I started at in Indiana for a budget price. The only reason it was not 5 starts is because my last evening there we lost power and after about 50 minutes the emergency lights stopped working. Now, I'm a large male so I was far less worried than the women who were there with children. It is important for all guest to feel safe.

The rooms were neat and clean. The beds were comfortable. The towels were brand new. Just felt like home away from home.

The room was clean and tidy. The ladies at check-in were nice and accomodating. Unfortunately, unmasked people were walking in and out of the location even though there were signs posted requiring masks. The heat in the room was hard to control. It was extremely hot and I had to get up multiple times to adjust the temperature because there was no happy medium. The worst issue was someone on our floor had the entire hallway smelling of cigarette smoke and when we called the desk, they told us that the person would be charged $250 once they checked out, meanwhile the rest of us had to endure the smell. Unacceptable.

Double queen:nBathroom drawers and cabinets can't open when the bathroom door is open. Which was annoying and wrongly placed. Make sure to check your garbage disposal.nThe mini convince store located in hotel is usually empty but never seen guests buying items only the employees/housekeeping. I wouldn't call it suites but just a hotel.nFree laundry room in the gym was okay too just a little dusty.

AC loud and not controllable with the thermostats, small TV, no ice machine, only in the refrigerator in the room, which is not active at check in. First night, buy your own ice. Poor room maintenance overall giving the feeling it is not clean. No pool either. On a Tuesday, over $100 per night for this and not even continental breakfast. If I had known, I would not have stayed here. Im not happy with IHG Rewards either. I asked for a 1 room with two queen beds at a Holiday Inn where I stayed before. I got two double size beds, not a queen size at a completely different hotel. There are many services trucks here and no one follows any Covid precautions. This is not the place I asked for. The only consolation is front desk person was very nice though.
