Detail had been taken to keep the premises extremely clean. Bedding comfortable. Love this new look. Breakfast was well served and the utmost care taken was taken to keep service safe. Lovely ladies handling the serving.
It's a very nice hotel looks very new, smells new, staff were friendly, and the room was clean and had a reasonable view. They were very helpful even though we were checking in last minute at night.if I had to give any improvements it would be breakfast was a little cold but we had a microwave so it wasn't really a big deal would keep in mind if I come back.
The Holiday Inn still had a 'new car' smell. Only a few months old it was really nice. The pool and amenities were excellent. It was conveniently located to a good deal of food options too.
The hotel itself is nice. The room is very nice. The tap water smells like somebody did something unspeakable to it. You can't drink it, and bathing in it makes you smell worse than if you hadn't. They need to sort that out bc its pretty unreasonable. I stayed for two weeks and the water smells literally like dumpster juice the whole time. Staff is nice, parking is great, cable went out a few times.
Overall, the stay was fine. The hotel is new and the rooms are very clean. The hotel requires face coverings inside but apparently this only applies to the customers because many staff members either wore them under their chin or, in the case of the staff member serving food, not at all. The saff member serving food without a mask is really what pushed me to write this review. That shocked me. Some staff members did wear masks correctly but far from all. They still offer a continental breakfast but its served to you. Most of what's listed on the menu was not available. Seems to me it wouldn't have been difficult to update the sheet of paper with what they do have. Its literally nothing more than a MS Word doc. Finally, asked for extra towels. Was told they were doing laundry and to check back later. What? You cant take our room # and bring them or let us know when they are available? We just took some from the pool area. Overall, it's not a bad place and the staff was generally friendly, rooms are immaculate, the pool is small but nice and clean. However, they seem to have compliance issues and a few opportunities to train staff members.
