Nantucket Inn

Nantucket room 2, docking 1 star due to the room not being as clean as it could have been. Found a used toe separater and lighter in the couch and a used coffee bag next to the coffee machine. The shower backs up and doesn't drain very well. No USB ports. These are becoming standard in most nice hotels, I recommend upgrading. Other than that it's right on the beach and the views are amazing.

Room 2 view is stunning. Seating area right out the door on the beach. Sunset from the deck was breathe taking.

First time here. Definitely no the last one. Nice and clean. The access to the beach and the magnificent view of the sunset makes this place a 5 star

I'm starting to get extremely frustrated with how I'm being pushed aside regarding my stay at Nantucket. When we got our keys to check in, we drove down the street to check in and they didn't work with the corresponding unit. A guest next door had told us the people that checked in before us had the same issues. After driving back to the front desk we ended up getting it figured out and we moved on to the vacation. Upon checkout and driving home August 2nd I was immediately charged $70 for robes that we hung behind the bedroom door and never touched the entire stay. When I called the front desk she was pretty disrespectful and told me the assistant manager was gone, even though she had just emailed me. August 4th I was then told it was a mistake and that I should be refunded, which sounds great and I was accepting of the situation at that point. It is now August 12th and I haven't received any refund, no email back when I asked how long it generally takes to refund a charge that never should have been charged to begin with.

Very, very disappointing! We stayed at the shoreline room #1 the night before last for our 3rd anniversary. The place was so dirty. The microwave was dirty and smelled like fish, the carpets were stained and still had food on them from what I guess was the previous guest. The stove was dirty and my husband had to put it on self clean and wipe it out before it was too nasty to use. The bathroom tub had hair in it and dirty marks. The wall in the bedroom was wet and soft from water leaking in. We had to wipe down things before we could use it. We complained to the agent at the starfish who said that she would get the manager. The manager was apparently too busy to listen to our concerns but apparently had enough time to tell the agent what our options were. We ended up moving out of the room and into another hotel. They did refund the money back because they had no vacancies at the starfish. Just a disappointing way to spend your anniversary. Just would have been nice if the manager would have taken the time to speak with us directly. Would never stay here again!
