Comfort Inn & Suites

Across the street from the beach. Our room was lovely. Our view was all greenery! Will call directly and share the third party price we got next time to see if they will match it. They would have loved to give us the 2 queen beds that we needed, but could not even see anything but our room on their screens. They would have matched the price we found they said!

NO STARS!!! We were evacuated from our condo in north Lincoln City due to a fire threatening our community. Not wanting to go too far away, we rented a room at Comfort Inn in south Lincoln City. This place was virtually empty when we rented and when we asked how much for the room, we were told $99....period. No mention was made of the quote not including taxes or a pet charge (we have a cat).nnUnfortunately, when my partner signed the credit card charge, he initialed in 2 places without reading the fine print. This allowed them to charge us an additional $13 for taxes and $20 for our cat (who spent 90% of the time we were in the room in his carrier). We were both so shaken up by having to evacuate our beautiful home and not knowing if it was going to be there when the fire was contained or where we were going to go if it burned, that Gibb neglected to read the fine print. Normally he would have.nnMeanwhile, we were only in the room for a couple of hours when the power went out. Obviously this wasn't the motel's fault and we wouldn't have thought of complaining, however before the power went out I wanted to shower. The bathtub was disgustingly filthy...dirt, hair, etc. on the bottom. I tried to clean as best I could and ended up putting a towel over the bottom, but there was practically no water pressure so I didn't really get much of a shower and I was freaked out by the filth. I didn't complain because I was trying to be tolerant and understand how difficult it might be to maintain a business under the circumstances of the fire threat.nnNext morning when we left, there was no breakfast, not even coffee, but again we didn't complain. Due to the condition of the room and the lack of power or a Continental Breakfast, they should have cut the price in half, but we didn't ask for anything like that.nnWe didn't get a receipt and weren't aware of the charge of $132.99 until I checked my Visa account. We called Comfort Inn and asked that they charge us only the $99. They refused. We argued and they hung up on us.nnWe will be telling everyone about this and hopefully they will lose some sales over it. We will also be opening a dispute claim through our credit card company and sending a letter to Comfort Inn corporate offices.nnDO NOT BOOK A ROOM AT THE LINCOLN CITY OR COMFORT INN (136 NE Hwy 101)!!!

Staff is great they were vary helpful and friendly and breakfast was as good as it can be for the times. The rooms and hotel need alot of maintenance done to them and better maintenance as some one who is a facilities manger for a large company i can say I would not let my guys take the short cuts I saw in the room and hotel. I also noticed that none emptied the trash outside in the parking lot vary often. All in all the price was good for the hotel

4.5 Stars. Only wish could have been you use the pool an hot tub but room was very clean. Very happy with our stay.. Went to kyllos for dinner an drinks was very nice walking distance to the beach as well. Will stay there again.

We went to Lincoln City for our anniversary and loved staying here! Jacuzzi tub, huge bed and free breakfast - what more could you want?
