Red Lion Inn & Suites Eugene

First room we checked into smelt bad. We opened up window turned on A/C and went to dinner came back and it was worse. Asked the front desk to move, they moved us. At about 1 am we gotten woken to people being loud (yelling, slamming doors, walking loud) sounded like we booked a room in the ghetto. Felt very unsafe. People were hanging out in parking lot also. This continued till after 3 am. It was so bad my wife wanted to leave but was to scared because it sounded so ghetto outside. The McDonald's next door was quiter then the hotel and parking lot. Carpets were dirty and you rolled to the middle of the bed. Not worth the price we paid to lose sleep

Check in: the girl at the front hypes was not friendly and when we walked in she had friends or family there visiting with her. No welcome. Was given our keys and that was it. Was not told about check out. Or breakfast in the morning.nnRoom: it was fine. The bed was hard and there was white powder stuff all over the floor. The bathroom was clean.nnArea: lots of homeless around, the parking is ridiculous. I didnt feel safe walking to my car alone.nnCheck out: the male front desk person was extremely nice.nnNever were we greeted when entering or leaving the hotel. Its a fine place if your not looking for friendly and helpfulness.

Comfy beds and all butnIt would been nice to know my 4 days stay would be listening to construction going on right above and beside our room

Rooms were nice. Biggest jacuzzi tub I've seen in awhile. Lots of nearby food options.nnWould have liked some more furniture in the room, like a chair to sit in, but otherwise a very good experience.

There was dried ketchup on T.V. Vending machines didn't work, Towels were ruff, Hallways were dirty. No ice machine on third floor , had to go to first. Drive way was accessible from only one way had to go around block to get to it. The front desk employee's were very helpful beyond everything else
