Courtyard by Marriott Eugene Springfield

Courtyard by Marriott has completed its renovation and the lobby looks great. The beds are comfy; the room is clean; and the staff are super friendly and professional. I stayed across the street at the Hilton prior to this. I only have 2 complaints: 1) The bathroom fan is too noisy; it needs some grease and 2) The AC/Heater filter is not clean or rather hasn't been cleaned in years. This is NORMAL in the hotel industry. Of all the times I've traveled for work and pleasure, I can recall only 2 occasions where I witnessed a staff cleaning this filter. So I make it a routine to clean it myself in every check-in. Workers are nice.. But two different people walked in my room..once when I was using the restroom and once when I’m on the bed and this was all within the first hour and a half that I checked in my room...No microwaves in room ...you must go downstairs to use theirs where you check in... And you can hear people talking in the rooms next to you ...so the walls are very thin ...other than that ..it’s a nice clean place...

They are five stars as far as I am concerned. We had to evacuate our home due to the wildfires and they gave discounted rates to anyone that had to evacuate. Very courteous and went above and beyond to help when they could.

They employees here are awesome the rooms are beautiful Me and my husband and our dog Bobo are guests there right now oh and there's Denny's McDonald's Jack in the box Outback and Shari's with in walking distance they have a laundry gym swimming pool and a hot tub oh and Gateway Mall is just up the road

Our rooms were ready earlier than promised, so A+ for that. And the rooms are beautiful and well stocked.nVery peaceful, I slept like a baby. Thank you, to their entire staff!
