Lamplighter Inn

Excellent value. Front desk lady was very nice and welcoming. Room was a bit cramped compared to other hotels but recently updated and very clean. Shower, appliances (fridge, microwave), and all outlets were modern and working well. Heater took a bit to warm the room but got the job done. Lights in the main bedroom area were a bit underwhelming, which explains some of the reviews I read saying it was dark in the rooms. But I found it perfectly acceptable. Would stay here again!

GREAT independently owned inn, very friendly owner and plenty of parking and WELL lit lot for great peace of mind. Definitely will be back! Keep it up guys!

WARNING: A dive. NOT clean, dated, no microwave, and the worst part - raging loud people next door, that I believe LIVE in the “hotel”. We stayed two nights and both nights were kept up by the same guys....same time frame - 11:00 p.m. 2:00 a.m. and again the yelling started at 7:00 a.m. We wiped the room down before staying (as we have every room during Covid travels) and the wipes were disgustingly brown afterwards. Like smokers grime/residue. Also loud road traffic. All we ask for is quiet and cleanliness - and this place was NEITHER.

Because of the price! It was clean. Very basic. Bed was comfortable. No carpet, which I love. All time floors. The bathroom could use updating but completely functional. Plenty of towels. The heater in room 105 rattled awful but worked good. We wear earplugs so no problem. The breakfast:. Coffee good. Waffles good. Very clean. English muffins and biscuits were hard as rocks. Overall good value for the money. Nice front desk people.
