Silver Saddle Motel

Being new in Santa Fe, we were looking for someplace comfortable and affordable and this was it! Dawn, the lady who works at the front desk became more then the office manager, she became our friend, our son absolutely loved her! The rooms are western rustic and each has a theme and amazing pieces on the wall. Our room had a fridge and microwave which was so convenient. Theres a back patio thru the office where you can relax under an umbrella! Amazing housekeeping staff! Always attentive to anything you need and amazing personalities to match! We stayed a few weeks and absolutely will be back if we are ever back in the area... We even got surprise snow on our last night! Beginning of September! Close to groceries and main town. Thank you to Dawn and the whole staff of the Silver Saddle Motel!

We loved our stay here. Our room was very clean and the price was affordable. The decorating was so lovely that we felt cozy and at home. The location is great and just a short distance from most places in Santa Fe. Dawn at the front desk is so kind and helpful. She made some great recommendations for our trip and made some great conversation. Whenever I stay in Santa Fe, I'll be staying at the Silver Saddle!

Such a neat place steeped in history. Old school motel with great upkeep, clean and comfortable furnishings as well. While visiting in the summer watch out for ants though. It seems it's just a fact of life there and there's not too much you can do about it (that's what I was told at least).

Friendly desk lady, clean and safe. a little small but functional, the shower was little but had good pressure and hot water. The restaurants here have a restriction to dine in if you've not been in the state for at least 14 days prior to coming you can't dine in but you can get your meal to go.

Everything about this motel exceeded every sense of the word, IMPECCABLE. From the moment you walk into the gates to the lobby, you feel pulled back into the last frontier of the old west! You literally have the feel of the plaza right in this lobby, with the decore, the wares you can buy and the AMAZING patio area! We were greeted by the wonderful Manager who was ready and expecting our arrival. I booked our through a 3rd party site and booked 2 double bed room. My mother, my 4 year old and I come to Santa Fe AT LEAST 4 times a year (when we’re not in a pandemic) the manager upgraded us to a 2 queen room. (THANK YOU FOR YOUR HOSPITALITY) I can NOT get over this room! The pictures DO NOT give this motel justice! We were given the Roy Rogers room! And it is FULL of so much cowboy charm! I am a woman with a flare of details and dramatics and this gives me everything I needed! The cleaning crew is wonderful to say the least! Very thorough and detail oriented even if you’re here for a multiple day stay! She always made sure we had towels the beds are made, “high and tight” most motels I bring my own blanket and pillow, here i feel confident in the cleaning and upkeep of the bedding AND the beds. Also, these beds are the BEST I’ve slept in, in comparison to my own. My mother and my son are obsessed with the lobby area, rightfully so. We have never felt like an inconvenience or rushed by the front desk personnel! In fact, we have felt so welcomed and our company enjoyed by both the week manager and the weekend staff! We have been engaged in personable conversation and the history of the property. As well as the names the themed rooms! In conclusion, we will NEVER give our business to a chain motel again. If it’s not Silver Saddle Motel. We’re not coming to Santa Fe. You have a FOREVER RETURNING CUSTOMER.
