Motel 6 Santa Fe, NM

Without trying the bed I'm already unhappy. Hair in the shower & behind the toilet, no drinks in the lobby except soda machine. In the room, no coffee machine, microwave, fridge, shampoo. Someone is obviously living in the next room, with a gate across the door & a dog that barks. Have to kick the door open because it sticks. ☹️

This is a Franchised Motel 6. They didn't give me a room for the advertised price. Vending machines were turned off like they were trying to save $$ on electricity. Maybe that's why I was charged more money. I came across another Franchisee....they over price the room to. I will ask if it is a Franchised before I do anything else. If it is move in because they are not fair in their pricing. The motel was empty and the host didn't have a handicap room for me either....?????? Read flags will send me packing as well as being inconveinced.... Can't afford excess charging or price gouging....

It wasn’t cleaned beforehand.. which considering these covid times felt very irresponsible. The maid lady was really nice and apologetic, but now that I’m reading other reviews it seems this is a reoccurring theme. I would avoid this place

After driving over 1400 miles straight through for almost 23 hours I needed to crash and beinv that I needed an early check in this was the only hotel available. The room reeked of MJ and though my room and the one next door were non smoking the person next door was stoking up. The sheets had a cigarette burn on them. The shower had long hair in it on the walls and the bathroom walls had a brown residue on them. The only reason I stayed was because there was a winter storm happening and driving further down to Albuquerque wouldn't have been safe. Upon check out I brought up a these things with the front desk agent and they didn't offer to do anything and I asked who I needed to talk to customer service and she said yes and went back to what she was doing. Worst stay ever Motel 6!!!

Made a reservation for Thanksgiving and ended up having to cancel all my Thanksgiving plans due to Covid. I actually missed my reservation (booked through Expedia) but Expedia called the hotel. Explained to them the situation and they waived the no show fee. Disclaimer: This may not be an across the board exception but I appreciate them doing it for me.
