Ramada by Wyndham Santa Fe

This is a nice hotel. I have stayed here many times and the rooms are always very clean and the staff is always nice. Parking is a small problem but the nice rooms are worth it to me.

Booked through booking and this was the worst customer service I've ever received at any hotel I've ever stayed at. The girl was rude and canceled our room since we tried to either change cards or pay cash. She said New Mexico residents were not allowed to stay at this hotel. Its in New Mexico?! I didnt understand why since my ID is NM. She ran to the back and left us in the lobby questioning what just happened. This place looked like it was on the bad side of town so maybe us not staying there was a blessing in disguise

Anna is the worst front-desk clerk that I have come across in dealing with hospitality management. I have stayed at chain hotels/motels, non-chain hotel/motel and never have I been treated as disrespectfully and rudely as this clerk. 1) When I arrived at the property, she told me I arrived early and to come back later. NO hotel/motel ever turned me away for being early. It's not like I did it on purpose. Most hospitality staff understand that and do their best to find you a room. Not this girl. 2) When I did arrive, part of the checking-in she asked me for my address. I never had to do that. I asked why and she kept pointing to the computer. I asked for the WHY and again she kept pointing to the computer screen saying this is the reason. When I told her she was being rude she got very defensive and told me I didn't have to check in and she would cancel my reservation. I told her she had no right to do so as I this was a non-refundable reservation. 3) I notified her that my TV was not working. She proceeded by telling me did I check the button next to the TV. I asked her which button she was referring to. "The power button". I tried my hardest to keep my temper as I responded that the TV was already on. Nelson, the maintenance man was a nice guy. He showed me around the property. When I stated that I wish I could see my car from the room, he recommended an empty room with the same specifications that has the view to the parking area. When I requested this from Anna, again she agitated me. However, the manager did call the front desk and walked the front desk staff thru the procedure to replace my room. I was not notified of the change, though. All I got was a single missed call with no voice mail letting me know who called or the reason for the call.

The King mini suite was spacious. It was a good price at $71, including the use of a microwave and refrigerator in the room. Only complaint is about the freshness of the breads for breakfast. Most were stale and hard. Otherwise, it is a decent Continental breakfast. Coffee is pretty good. Small yogurts, hard boiled eggs, bagels and cream cheese, are appreciated. Yes, would stay there again.
