Siltcoos River Kayak Rentals

I had quite the positive experience renting a kayak and going the full length of the river. I went all the way to the beach turned around went all the way back to the lake and then completed the circuit. I highly recommend anyone to enjoy this relaxing experience.nnAlong the meandering river, there were lots of down trees that you go underneath. There was a dam that requires you to pick up the kayak to go over. There was various birds and other wire life to explore. And when I made it all the way to the end at the beach, there was a nice volunteer ranger waiting for me to tell me about the endangered birds in the area. I just had to navigate through the shallows to make it all the way to the end. And I recommend you to do the same.nnThe only negative experience that I had was the uncomfortable seat in the kayak. I've been in other kayaks before and found their seats much more comfortable. Maybe just the specific kayak I got was not the ideal kayak. Other than that it was an amazing experience.

What a beautiful place to launch a kayak or canoe. There is a large selection of kayaks and a kayak chute for easy launch and dismount. The owner is friendly and the river setting is absolutely gorgeous.

I would highly recommend this kayak rental and trip down Siltcoos River to the ocean. The staff were very patient and helpful when helping me reserve my rentals. The trip was beautiful and great fun. We will certainly be visiting this business again!

What a beautiful way to spend an afternoon, the Siltcoos was peaceful with wildlife to watch and enjoy. The crew was fantastic and took great care of us first timers. Highly recommend!

What a beautiful ride, down a calm river. Great place to learn, and try new things. From forest to beach, otters, birds, ducks...so much to see. We will be back.
