Great value for the pricennStaff are great, friendly and helpful, I enjoyed talking with Tara about general topicsnnComfy beds and clean rooms - they cover the basics wellnnThey welcome our dog Roxanne, and my smoking other half Dave - so they're open to my entire family in ways that's surprisingly hard out in cow country, several motels in town don't allow pets, and one has no smoking on the propertynnBonuses, in room coffee and HBO - yaynnWe've been staying at the Sundowner off and on for 6 years, and watched how the owners have worked hard to bring a classic little motel back to life. I look forward to seeing more and better improvements next time we stay here

I love this place!! $40 per night and a step back in time. I hope this place never changes. Very animal friendly and they don’t turn turn over your personal information to the police every night like Motel 6; Snitches get stitches...stay at the Sundowner.

Great price. Warm, comfortable.

I arrived at the motel around 1 a.m. I rang the bell didn’t hear or see anyone so I rang it again then I hear I am coming god damn it. I could not believe how rude the man was. Then I get to the room and the carpet was gross, the shower knob was broken but worked the room smelled of mildew. I realize it was only $ 43 but I think they need to update and clean better. The attitude of the desk person was disturbing

Other than the mold, the smell, the constant ticking from one of the neighbors ac units, the fact that the ac turned on and off making a loud racket all through the night, did I mention the smell of mildew and sewage, other than those minor details this place is great...
