Hotel Prairie

The staff were so friendly and very responsive. We didn't have a reservation or anything, we just saw the sign as we were driving through, but the person met us at the hotel and checked us in very quickly. I didn't know what to expect of the hotel itself, but I was very impressed. Everything was clean, and kept up. The shared kitchen area is inviting and the sitting room was very well done. Thank you, Hotel Prairie!

We had been driving all day and really needed a place to stay. Pulled up saw a lit Vacancy sign and some lights on.nWent to the door and it was locked.nThen we noticed to notice on the window to call for service. They had a box that you could open to make the call, but I had my cell phone so I used it. Within a few minutes someone was there to check us in. Beautiful 1905 ambiance!

The best place to stay in all of Oregon, well that and the Geiser in Baker. Arrived later in the evening and were greeted warmly, great room, reasonable rates. If you want to step back in time, do stay.

We enjoyed our stay in the beautiful, historic hotel prairie. Very comfortable, nice a cool during hot summer days. A great place to stay if your exploring the blue mtns!

Very clean, quiet, and friendly. They also accept dogs! Loved the history and the historical items, photos, ect.
