Hotel Condon

Ok, the rooms are small, but what do you expect? It's a century old. Otherwise, wonderful! Beautiful interior, great little town, and very friendly staff. My only reason for not giving 5 stars was the shower wasn't very hot. It's cold out there.

Our group stayed here for a drive this past weekend, and it was MAGNIFICENT! wonderful rooms-- clean, updated while retaining an antique feel, fabulous sheets, lovely shower curtains! It has a welcoming central area on second floor for lounging, reading, playing (provided) board games or chess. The communal refrigerator was nice, as was the communal REAL coffee service in the central area (above and beyond the in-room coffee service). Wish the attached pub could be open, as food in town was... limited. But this hotel is so nice, it alone makes the trip to this town worth it!

If you never have visited Condon, you truly should. Take a weekend drive out and check it out!

A rare gem! We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Looks like Eastern Oregon may be able to open hotels, etc earlier than the coast or Willamette Valley. Really looking forward to getting back to this gem of a hotel!!
